About the Authors

Chef Craig made his own breakfast since age 8 and by age 13, he was planning, shopping for, and cooking dinner for his parents once a week. As a young adult, he started right from the beginning by washing dishes in a restaurant and worked his way up to cooking with a wok in a Chinese restaurant, to doing deliveries, to eventually becoming the executive sous chef at one of Israel’s top ten restaurants, Shila in Tel Aviv. He has done a pastry chef’s course at a cooking school in Israel and has worked as the pastry chef for the Facebook offices in Israel and Europe. Currently he works as the president of Razberry in Tel Aviv.
He has lived in South Africa, Mauritius, Botswana and currently lives in Tel Aviv, Israel with his wife and baby boy. This is his debut cookbook and he has designed and photographed the front cover for Johanna’s debut cookbook Have Food Will Travel.

Johanna is a former scuba instructor always looking for a purpose. She worked in a library while becoming a holistic nutrition practitioner in 2014, and in 2018, a certified holistic cancer practitioner. In 2010 she enrolled in a recipe development contest with the Service Inspired Restaurant Corporation in Ontario, Canada. She won the contest with her bamboo steamed lobster and watercress salad. This earned her a dinner for six cooked by executive chef Michael Steh from Reds Bistro in Toronto, a mention in the Food & Wine magazine published by the Ontario liquor board and a cooking course for two at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California, where Chef John Ash was her instructor. She writes a food and travel blog at http://www.foodsoftheworld2017blog.com and has designed and developed their book’s website http://www.atasteofgorgeous.com. Johanna has lived in South Africa, Mauritius, Botswana, Aruba, Canada and currently lives in the USA with her husband. She has published Have Food Will Travel, A Taste of Gorgeous, Cooking for Cancer, Sophisticated Palate, Another Taste of Gorgeous, Fresh, and Devotion. A Taste of Gorgeous is a bronze medal winner at the Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards.

Johanna graduated with honors as a holistic nutrition practitioner, holds a diploma for advanced holistic nutrition, a holistic cancer practitioner’s diploma and a personal fitness instructor’s diploma from the International Sports Science Association. She has a passion for food photography and yoga, and currently works at her local library as a business administrative assistant.
